Knowledge is important to know the reality of our existence. This knowledge will allow us to know who Allah is and what Islam is. Seeking knowledge sincerely will force us to look at authentic sources. This acknowledgment will allow us to have confidence in what Allah sent down. This will allow us to confidently practice Islam. This practice will keep us conscious of Allah and thus help us constantly increase our faith and thus increase our trust upon Allah. Therefore, knowledge is the key factor from where it all begins.
The same thing happens in relationships with others. The more we know them, the more we are comfortable in dealing with them and the more trust we develop upon them.
