An intelligent person may consider himself arrogant and think that he is the only right person on this planet and he may be lost in the love of all his productions and think that this is all his wonder. Rather, as Allah Almighty says in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 216, in order to heal this problem, we must know that Allah knows while we don’t. Notice this is how knowledge saves you. It saves us from being over-confident and arrogant. Allah Almighty actually saves us through giving us knowledge. Also, we must learn from the story of Qarun, who thought that his wealth was the result of his knowledge.

Our mindset should be that whatever we achieve in this world is a gift from Allah Almighty, and not our personally acquired achievement. This allows us to appreciate whatever we gain and be thankful. Thus the mindset that can save us each day is that whatever we’re about to achieve in not our productivity, but we’re moving ahead to gain Allah Almighty’s gifts for us. All our good productions, achievements etc. are his gifts, not our gain. This creates a thankful person.
