Paradise is associated with the colour green: The colour green has been mentioned 8 times in The Qur’an. And Sahih Bukhari 3257 states: “The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Paradise has eight gates”. Thus the colour green is mentioned 8 times in The Qur’an and paradise has 8 gates.

Hell-fire is dark and black in colour (to the best of my research): The colour black has been mentioned 7 times in The Qur’an. The Qur’an says in verses 43 and 44 of the chapter of Hijr: “and surely Hell is their destined place, all together. It has seven gates, to each a group of them is designated.” Thus the colour black is mentioned 7 times in The Qur’an and hell-fire has 7 gates. AMAZING!!

But if this wasn’t enough, the sum of the “GATES” of paradise and hell is 8 plus 7 which is 15. And amazingly, the Arabic word for “gates” which is “abwab” is mentioned exactly 15 times in The Qur’an!!

Of course, this miracle, like all others is amazing because The Qur’an was revealed over a period of about 23 years, under different circumstances. And it has not been changed for the last 1400 years. And this same book contains all other scientific, numerical and linguistic miracles at the same time!!
