This is actually both a scientific and a numerical miracle. According to the metonic cycle, the solar and lunar cycles come back together every 19 years. And amazingly, the words “sun” (shams) and “moon” (qamar) have been mentioned together in the same verses exactly 19 times, as if to very subtly point to this very scientific reality.

Additionally, it takes about 27 days for the moon to go around the earth and the word “moon” (qamar) is mentioned exactly 27 times in The Qur’an!!!

 However, again, what makes this mathematical precision miraculous is the fact that it is incorporated into a book filled with linguistic miracles, numerical miracles, scientific miracles etc. all in a book never changed throughout the last 1400 years..
