population of USA = 340 million

5% of the population = 0.05 x 340 million = 17 million

total money made = 3 dollars x 17 million = 51 million dollars

5 % of the income = 0.05 x 51 million = 2.55 million dollars

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??

I have assumed a cheap burger, I have assumed a very low count of population, I have assumed a low percentage on that fact that the international chain takes only 5% of the income. And that alone is giving the international chain about a million from a ONE TIME buy of a cheap burger. (Of course I have assumed that the branch of KFC is outside its country of origin, but you can imagine how much it makes if its within the country!!!, and also, I have considered the income, instead of the profit)

Dear Muslims, rather humans, can you believe what effect a boycott potentially holds!! Do not take this matter as something trivial and small. YOU, personally have the power to help the people of Gaza, Palestine and other oppressed people around the world. Sure the governments have their power. But if they’re not doing what they should, do not sit back and assume that you’re trivial. YOU too have the power.

In fact, your personal decisions to buy certain international brands of soft drinks, restaurants, fast foods, juices, chocolates, chips and all other services, games, clothes, cars, furniture, etc. etc. and the list goes on, actually is in YOUR OWN HANDS. Our personal choices makes huge impacts. And everyone is well aware of what he needs and what he’s buying simply as a desire, for entertainment. Fast food and so much of what we buy is simply for fulfilling our entertainment desires. Our needs our much less than that. Have we become so dead on the inside that our desires are more valuable than human lives? (Not to mention that most of what we feed ourselves happens to be on the healthy side of food or simply junk food in the first place)

Just imagine how much profit these international brands make if this is what they are making from a one-time buy. I have taken a cheap item, a low population count, and a low percentage for their cut. But who knows how much they actually make !!!! Imagine the number of orders per day and the number of people ordering online and the number of people buying on the weekends and the amount of food each person buys !!!! And this is only one item from one brand. Just imagine the cumulative effects of all those international brands, services and God knows what not!!

Plus, you’re losing the local talent. International business is flopping your local brands and the motivation for locals to thrive. Why not give our own people a greater chance. Buy from them!!!

This life is a test. Palestinians and other oppressed people are being tested with their lives. You simply have to make a buying decision: Is a human life more valuable than my desires? Trust me, before totally blaming the governments, YOU yourself can turn the tables!!!
